An icon in Guadalajara has coronavirus.

Juan José Jiménez, who for several years has given life to the “Chiva Loca”, mascot of the Sacred Herd, is hospitalized a victim of the coronavirus.

” Juanjo ” Jiménez is hospitalized in a clinic of the Mexican Institute of Social Security ( IMSS ) in the city of Guadalajara, connected to oxygen and has reportedly responded to treatment.

Since 1993, Jiménez got into a botarga and gave life to this character that despite the creation of other official mascots of the Herd, has survived.

The rojiblanco club has already had several elements that tested positive for COVID-19 such as Oribe Peralta, Ronaldo Cisneros, Fernando Beltrán, Uriel Antuna, Vega and Miguel Ponce.
