Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 would be at least 50% faster than GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Nothing better than closing the day with rumors about the performance of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 , which would offer a noticeable performance improvement over the current top-of-the-range GPU for the gaming segment, and this is none other than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti .

According to these rumors, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 has managed to break the 10,000 point barrier in the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme benchmarking software, hence the performance improvement compared to the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which is round the 6300 points. If we add 50 percent to this score as was speculated, it gives us 9,450 points, so really the performance improvement will be greater than 50 percent since it is hovering around 10,000 points.

This performance is obvious that comes thinking of a new generation of 4K monitors with high refresh rates, not to forget an increasingly advanced Virtual Reality glasses where all this power will be very well received. As a strange case, the 8K gaming televisions that are about to come promoted by the advertising of the consoles.

According to the rumors known so far, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 would arrive with the GA102-300-A1 graphics chip and would be the replacement for the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, and for this, it would offer  5248 CUDA Cores under the Ampere @ 7nm architecture accompanied by  12 GB  of GDDR6 @ 21 GHz VRAM memory attached to a 384-bit memory interface. A few recent rumors indicated that Nvidia would have had problems with these memories and that they could finally reach 19 GHz or 19.5 GHz.

Above, the only GPU that exceeds in performance will  Nvidia TITAN Ampere  (GA102-400-A1), which would provide  5326 CUDA Cores with  24 GB  of memory GDDR6 but slower, specifically  @ 17 GHz.
