Lisa Su to Announce AMD Ryzen 5000 APUs at CES 2021 Virtual Event

Although next October we will have a double event, one focused on the new family of AMD Ryzen processors with the Zen3 microarchitecture (October 8), and another related to AMD Radeon RX 6000 graphics with the RDNA2 architecture (October 28) We now know that in January we will have a live event led by Lisa Su herself, CEO and President of AMD.

There is no date for this event for now, as the original CES 2021 was canceled due to the pandemic, but it was going to take place from January 6-9, so this AMD event is expected to take place in an approximate date to these days.

It was the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of the CES, who announced that Dr. Lisa Su will deliver a keynote address during CES 2021. This will be the second time in a row that Lisa Su will give a keynote speech at CES.

In past years, the CES was the site chosen to present APUs portable AMD Ryzen 3000H / 3000U and Ryzen 4000H / 4000U, so this time we will have the announcement in a society of the 5000U Ryzen low consumption and Ryzen 5000H high performance under the Zen3 @ 7nm microarchitecture. Unfortunately, the Vega graphics are maintained.
