It is speculated that the GPU shown by AMD might not be the Radeon RX 6900 XT

During the event of the AMD Ryzen 5000, to finish, Lisa Su showed a graphics card, which is presumably the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, and that is that Lisa Su herself indicated that it was the most powerful graphics ever created by the company, Big Navi. so it is assumed that it is their top-of-the-range GPU, the Radeon RX 6900 XT, despite the fact that they indicated that it was a “Radeon RX 6000” in the images.

We now know that Scott Herkelman, Vice President and General Manager of the Graphics Business Unit, had underlined that AMD never said which Radeon RX 6000 series GPU they were using, raising the question of whether AMD was really showing off its flagship GPU, or a model lower than this. Additionally, he added something that is evident, and that is that they could still fine-tune the performance of their RDNA2 graphics cards before their launch.

If we consider what Lisa Su said, the best that AMD can hope for is to stay at around 10 percent performance of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080. If they have superior graphics, history has told us that it never has happened, but in the next few days, or at the latest weeks, we should see an escalation of the leaks that indicate if that really is the real position of AMD or they have something up their sleeve to change recent history as well as it has done with the processors AMD Ryzen.
