Intel Core i7-1165G7 reappears for 3DMark to seamlessly outperform AMD Ryzen 7 4700U

The Intel Core i7-1165G7 (Tiger Lake @ 10nm) has been seen again by 3DMark Time Spy benchmarking software at nearly 1 month and 1 exact week from its rumored release date, and this time it does so with surprise and is that its performance has improved over previous benchmarks, allowing it to outperform the AMD Ryzen 7 4700U in terms of CPU and GPU performance.

The  Intel Core i7-1165G7  is an old one known around here, and we speak  4 cores and 8 processing threads under the Willow Cove architecture at a Base / Turbo frequency of 2.80 / 3.80 GHz and  Intel Xe graphics with 96 Execution Units with a TDP of  28W.

On the other hand, the  AMD Ryzen 7 4700U, with  8 cores and 8 processing threads at a Base / Turbo frequency of  2.00 / 4.20 GHz with 448 Stream Processors and a TDP of 15W. As we can see, we have twice as many physical cores with a TDP that is practically half that of Intel.
