here are times when we want, for various reasons, an email to be deleted after a certain time.
If you are a Gmail user, you should know that this is possible and it is very easy to do. You just have to follow the steps that we will give you below.
The first thing you should do is enter your account. Then select compose and write what you want, as well as the address you want to send it to.
Now, before hitting ‘send’, select the ‘Confidentiality’ option , which is on the bottom bar and is shaped like a clock with a lock.
Once in there you can select the time you want to pass for the email to self-destruct. You can choose between a day, a week, a month, three months, and five years.
Within this confidentiality tab there is also the option to make the sending of the mail more secure, since it gives you the option that it can only be opened through a password that will arrive by message and that will be created by Google.
Once you have selected the desired option it will return you to the draft and will send you a message to confirm the date it will expire .
If you regret it at the last minute, just hit the ‘x’ on the right side.
Ready. They won’t be able to read it again!
