2K / 4K Benchmarks of the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6800 XT and Radeon RX 6800

During the presentation of the AMD Radeon RX 6000 Series, AMD showed a couple of benchmarks for each GPU at a resolution, but today we can know the performance of these three GPUs in both 2K and 4K, since the company only showed the 2K performance for the Radeon RX 6800 XT and 4K for the Radeon RX 6900 XT and, incomprehensibly, for the most basic model known so far, the Radeon RX 6800.

2K games

Out of the 6 games selected, the AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT beats the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 by 5/6 games. Even 2/6 of the time the Radeon RX 6800 XT ranks above Nvidia’s top-of-the-range GPU. Notably, the AMD Smart Access Memory is active, which inflates the GPU data.

4K games

After 8 games analyzed, the Radeon RX 6900 XT only manages to beat the GeForce RTX 3090 in three of them, the same number of times that the Radeon RX 6800 XT does. Perhaps most interestingly, at 4K, the Radeon RX 6800 XT outperforms the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 in half the benchmarks, and that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti is already playing alone in another league of previous-gen GPUs.
