The Ryzen 5800H, one of the members of the new Cezanne-H series, performed very well in both single and multi-core tests of Geekbench.
We had a detailed look at what AMD offers with the Zen 3 architecture on the desktop platform. We know that the new architecture will come to laptops soon. Geekbench performance tests TUM APISAK of the Ryzen 7 5800H model, which we can call high-end, have been discovered and we have the chance to compare the results with many mobile processors.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H had 8 cores and 16 threads and was running at a boost frequency of 4.45 GHz. On the other hand, we expect to see significant increases in the amount of cache in the new Cezanne-H series. The 5800H has 16MB of L3 cache, twice as much as its predecessor.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H Performance Benchmark
The mobile APU, tested on a laptop with the Acer Nitro AN515-45 SKU, reached 1475 points in single-core tests and 7630 points in multi-core tests. The current Ryzen 7 4800H scores 1090 and 6608 respectively in the same test. In other words, with the new generation, there is 35% superiority in single-core and 35% in multi-core. At least according to current Geekbench tests.
If we compare it with the Core i7-10875H model on the Intel side, we see that it reaches 1209 points in a single-core and 7010 points in a multi-core. As a result, a difference of 22% and 9%, respectively, emerge.

Mobile processors are now challenging desktop processors with the effect of the fierce competition. The red team is likely to introduce the Ryzen 5000 series ‘Cezanne-H’ series mobile chips at CES 2021. A processor called the Ryzen 9 5900HX has emerged, and with overclocking support, the mobile can sit at the top of the Ryzen 5000 series.
