The latest rumors from ‘ Ice Universe ‘, a very reliable source of leaks, has revealed that AMD Ryzen 4000 processors would be better than expected.

According to the translations of his text, he has indicated that the Zen3 microarchitecture has led to ” two well-known OEM equipment manufacturers ” becoming ” alarmed ” after having access to the first engineering tests, which indicate that the 4th Generation of AMD Ryzen processors will significantly outperform Intel in performance and power.

On the other hand, although AMD estimated a theoretical improvement in the IPC of the Zen3 microarchitecture between 15 and 17 percent compared to Zen2, the tests of these samples reveal that the performance is even higher than what AMD expected. And as it was logical to expect, if the performance of the engineering samples is already good, it will improve even more in its final version.

Some gossip about the Zen3 architecture of the Ryzen 4000 series.

Internal rumors circulating among engineers at two well-known OEM equipment manufacturers indicated that the performance of current Zen3 engineering samples has risen to an “alarming level.”

Judging from current information on Intel products owned by these two OEMs, the new generation of 4th Generation AMD Ryzen CPUs will outperform Intel in both performance and power consumption.

The “theoretical” improvement in AMD’s CPI for Zen3 is between 15-17%. But in testing, it performed better than AMD’s theoretical claims. According to the engineers, the actual performance of the engineering samples could be better than that.
