After the announcement of the NVIDIA RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070 different rumors of new graphics began. The first rumors indicated Ti models of the RTX 3080, RTX 3070 and RTX 3060. Now the first rumors about the NVIDIA RTX 3060 appear, which at the moment would be the simplest graphics of all the company’s in the market.
According to a rumor, the NVIDIA RTX 3060 would have 6GB GDDR6, being the one with the least VRAM memory of all. Possibly this graphic is relegated to 1080p gaming, due to the amount of VRAM memory. Remember that the AMD RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, and RX 6800 graphics cards will have 16GB GDRR6.
Rumors indicate that the NVIDIA RTX 3060 will have 6GB VRAM
To date it has been rumored about an RTX 3080 @ 20GB GDDR6X, an RTX 3070 Ti @ 10GB GDDR6 and an RTX 3060 Ti @ 8GB GDDR6. The RTX 3060 @ 6GB GDDR6 would be the simplest graphics to date and it would be intended for 1080p gaming. A series of forced moves by the advertiser of AMD RDNA2 graphics cards that feature 16GB GDDR6.
Like everything to date, they are rumors based on what has been seen so far. Officially NVIDIA only has in the market the RTX 3090, RTX 3080 and RTX 3070. The data offered by AMD is that the RX 6000 will compete with these Ampere architecture graphics. Then it remains to be seen if this is reality or simply a trick when using certain ‘chetos’.
As with the performance of the AMD RX 6000 we are skeptical, also with these leaks. If RDNA2 really compete with current Amperes, NVIDIA is expected to launch new solutions. Actually, between the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080, and between the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090, there is plenty of room to add new gaming graphics, both for price and performance.
