NVIDIA has announced the release of the Game Ready Driver for Valorant, Riot Games’ highly anticipated tactical shooter. The new drivers offer the best performance in the competitive title, in addition to optimizing NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX and RTX graphics cards for three other releases: Minecraft Dungeons, Disintegration, and Crucible. The drivers also arrive prepared for the latest Windows 10 update, which Microsoft released on May 10.
Valorant, the new multiplayer from Riot Games – creators of the successful League of Legends – will launch on June 2 after a trial period that has captured hundreds of thousands of users. The Windows 10 update for May 10, 2020, offers a set of new features, from the inclusion of the graphics card temperature in the Task Manager to the introduction of the new DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics API. NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs have provided access to DirectX ray tracing since their launch in 2018, and with the new API, they will take advantage of the latest advances in this technology.
