In order to use the AX210 network card that can operate at 6 GHz frequency and comes in M.2 2230 form, it is necessary to use supported routers.
Intel launched the Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX210, the first WiFi 6E enabled wireless network card. This card, which comes in the M.2 2230 form factor, supports both 802.11ac and 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6 & Wi-Fi 6E) protocols.
As you know with WiFi 6, we could use 2.5 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. Although WiFi 6E has basically the same features as WiFi 6, the biggest difference is that it can use the 6 GHz frequency. Thus, users can access higher bandwidth and higher speeds.
Let us underline that this standard has not yet become widespread. As a matter of fact, you need a WiFi 6E-enabled router to use it. Finally, if you have a laptop or desktop motherboard with an M.2 WiFi module, you can use this M.2 board.
