The first RTX 3060 12GB Mini-ITX NVIDIA Ampere graphics cards arrive at the end of February.

The first Mini-ITX graphics cards of the NVIDIA Ampere generation will soon meet with users. MSI Aero ITX series, Palit StormX & Dual series and Gainward Pegasus series are the first RTX 3060 12 GB graphics cards announced until the end of February.

So far we haven’t seen a Mini-ITX graphics card from the Nvidia RTX 30 series. We can say that the main reason for this is that the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 models come with serious TDPs and large coolers. On the other hand, RTX 3060 is a bit more conservative in power consumption. The GPU exceeds 170W TDP while only requiring a slim 550W power supply.

Manufacturers seem very enthusiastic about making cards that are more compact than the RTX 3060 GPU with lower power consumption. All three of the initially mentioned manufacturers have announced the single-fan RTX 30 series card for the upcoming GPU, all offering a significantly reduced form factor alongside dual or triple fan designs. All three models seem to offer the standard triple DisplayPort and single HDMI 2.1 and come with a single 8-pin power connector.

RTX 3060 12 GB does not have an official release date yet, but it is mentioned in late February. So we’ll have to wait a little longer to see how this card is shaped.
