AMD’s Robert Hallock, with his comments on Reddit, stated that AMD sees 95 degrees as normal for Ryzen 5000 processors.
Commenting on the question about the high- end Ryzen processors working with higher temperatures, Hallock stated that temperatures up to 90 degrees are completely normal for processors such as 5800X , 5900X, 5950X and are considered in terms of full load.
To a question about what temperatures are normal for processors with Zen 3 architecture, we also observe that Hallock typically describes temperatures of 90 to 95 degrees. In addition to this, Hallock pointed out that the processors are designed considering these temperature values, and said that these temperatures are very normal for AMD.
Hallock also draws attention to the fact that Ryzen processors’ silicon and firmware are designed to operate at high temperatures and high frequency clocks to maximize processor performance.
In this section, the official warned the users not to worry when they approach the specified maximum temperature limit and underlined that these values are quite normal for Ryzen 5000 processors with Zen 3 architecture operating at full load.
