Yuri Bibliy better is known as ” 1usmus “, who is behind the DRAM Calculator for AMD Ryzen or the recently launched ClockTuner, has taken his chest out of his work, to the point of telling AMD that thanks to his tools he is able to convert his AMD Ryzen 9 3900XT CPU in a much more interesting processor compared to what AMD will offer with its Ryzen 5000 processors.

Zen 3 perfomance, Ryzen 9 3900XT and optimizations. 🔥

Tuning Ryzen 9 3900XT 85W , 7100 CB20

+67% perfomance per watt

My sample is not exclusive, all XT samples show phenomenal results 😉@LisaSu @AMDRyzen @AMD pic.twitter.com/krFYBdnmDk

A proof of this is that although the Ryzen 9 3900XT, from the factory, consumes 142W of energy to reach 7100 points in Cinebench R20, thanks to ClockTuner it managed to tune this same processor to achieve the same performance with a consumption of 85W , it is that is, it offers 67 percent more performance per watt consumed , which greatly improves that 40% performance per watt consumed of the Zen3 microarchitecture that AMD detailed on October 8 with the presentation of CPUs.

As expected, 1usmus received a response from more users, with one user reporting a 15% improvement in performance per watt consumed from their Ryzen 9 3900X. It is a pity that people with this talent are ignored by AMD, and it is that improving a processor in such a remarkable way by means of a click should have a prize, and more when there are several times that this user has solved the problems of the company.
