In addition to the new games that have been announced for Xbox Series X, Microsoft has also found space to talk about the Xbox One games that will be compatible with its next console. And in fact, they will enjoy better technical features thanks to several newly announced optimizations. Remember that bombastic label from ‘Optimized for Xbox Series X’? Well, these titles will have to be added to the list.
Sea of Thieves will have the label and will support Smart Delivery (that is, you will be able to play the best version available for the platform you have), but what we can expect from its new face has not been clarified. The already beautiful Ori and the Will of the Wisps can be seen in 4K, at 120 FPS, and with HDR, meanwhile. Gears Tactics, the notable RTS adaptation of the Gears of War franchise, will be seen in 4K and 60 FPS. Gears 5, its latest core episode, will feature 4K, HDR, ultra-equivalent graphics on PC, reduced load times, and instant gameplay. These last two features also apply to a Forza Horizon 4 that will be played at 4K and 60 FPS on the console.
As a reminder, other previously announced third-party Xbox Series X- optimized games are Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Bright Memory Infinite, Call of the Sea, Chorus, DiRT 5, Madden NFL 21, Scarlet Nexus, Scorn, Second Extinction, The Ascent, Vampire : The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Watch Dogs Legion and Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
