Will the Spider-Cat from “Spider-Man: Miles Morales” be the real star of the PS5?

The Game Informer has unveiled several unreleased clips of the upcoming game “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” coming to PlayStation 5. Among them, we learn of the existence of the cutest superhero in history: Spider-Man The Cat, already nicknamed Spider-Cat on social networks.

While The Mandalorian has its Baby Yoda, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will soon have its own kawaii star. The American media Game Informer (relayed by The Verge ) recently had the opportunity to present exclusive extracts from the next video game from Insomniac Games to be released on PlayStation 5 on November 19. Among them, fans of the Marvel hero have especially lingered on the preview (below) of a mission where the protagonist, Miles Morales, saves a tabby cat named Spider-Man The Cat. for a local grocer. After completing this quest, the player has the opportunity to team up with the Domestic Felid, decked out in his own spider mask, by taking him with him in his backpack. Spider-Man (the cat) can even assist Spider-Man (the superhero) through special finishers, in order to finish off their opponents with a claw.

Obviously, Internet users are already crazy about it. On social networks, some are already signing magnificent illustrations of the duo (below). The inclusion of a cat in the Spider-Man universe is obviously not a first. In 2011, for example, the American artist Skottie Young (known, in particular, for a Deadpool series ) had the opportunity to sign a spin-off, as part of the Spider Island x I Love New-York City cross-over. , titled “Nine Lives” whose hero was Spider-Cat , a four-legged feline version of the Marvel superhero.

The Game Informer also aired other clips from the next-gen game, including the first association between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. He also shared the hero’s first boss fight from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse , this time featuring electric punches, against the towering Rhino (see below).
