After detailing the game‘s roadmap for 2021, Ubisoft provided some additional information this Thursday about future improvements to Watch Dogs Legion, in response to a question posted to developers on Reddit. Indeed, the social media manager of the WatchDogsInfo account wanted to obtain information on the release of New Game + as well as the arrival of a performance mode at 60 frames per second for the new consoles.
The studio reassured the fact that these two features, eagerly awaited by the community, are in fact planned:
We will have more details to provide [about the New Game +] in our future updates and patch notes. The 60fps mode for new consoles is under development and we will announce its exact release date in our future updates.
With an answer that is still very vague in terms of timing, nothing says that Ubisoft is considering the release of these features in the near future. The slowness in finishing Watch Dogs Legion is also not so surprising if we put it in parallel with the very long gestation of the title, postponed several times over a total of about a year.
