Among the benefits that Ubisoft Connect brings with it is that: gamers of any platform will now “be able to interact with Ubisoft’s in-game services, activities and community.”

This new experience is available with an “intuitive and seamless integration into the game in the most recent titles and news” said the company. Ubisoft Connect is based on ten years of experience of operating online services on PC via Uplay. In addition to the loyalty program Ubisoft Club, which has given gamers “more than a billion rewards ” to date, he said.

This expansion will allow gamers to access social and in-game capabilities no matter what platform they use, including consoles and cloud gaming services (while the PC experience will continue to improve with dedicated services).

Charles Huteau, Ubisoft Creative Director at Ubisoft Connect, explained in a statement: “A decade ago, Ubisoft was one of the first publishers to improve the player experience with more services and social features. We wanted to build on this legacy to fulfil the Ubisoft’s vision of a global community and bringing these benefits to all of our players. ”

Ubisoft Connect will have the ability to “gather millions of players.” Therefore, it could be an ideal place for gamers to connect with friends or participate in events and activities. New limited-time challenges will be available. In addition, the service will provide the gamer community with an inter-game loyalty system that allows players to earn an unlimited number of Units to spend on unique rewards, such as weapons or clothing.

Availability and other features

This new experience integrates a news interface that brings together the activities and achievements of friends. While the “Smart Intel” feature will give gamers video tips and recommendations based on their activities. That is, each gamer will have access to data on their personal statistics and their style of play to continue improving. They will also be able to compare their numbers with those of select groups of friends through an improved ranking system.

This platform is designed “for a new era of gaming where players look forward to playing, progressing and staying in touch with their friends anywhere. As part of this commitment, the full cross-progression, across all platforms and services, will be available with some of Ubisoft’s most anticipated upcoming titles: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Riders Republic.

“The next generation of games goes beyond technological improvements and better graphics. For us, as creators and publishers, it is about bringing more fluidity and versatility to have the freedom to play on any device and with whoever you want. Ubisoft Connect is our commitment to a new fluid experience to not only facilitate the transition between generations and platforms, but also to be the starting point for new services that further contribute to new ways of enjoying games more focused on the player, “said Stephanie Perotti, vice president of online services at Ubisoft.

As part of the Ubisoft Connect celebrations, “over a thousand Ubisoft Club rewards have been unlocked, free of charge, for all players.” Additionally, they mentioned that regular updates will ” add more features and rewards ” later.

With Ubisoft Connect, the Ubisoft experience is available for Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch.
