Earlier this April, we heard the news that Apex Legends season 9 will have “a ton of Titanfall content,” which is perhaps why the number of Titanfall 2 players has skyrocketed. Specifically, over the past 24 hours, Respawn’s game has seen a new spike of concurrent players.
This, as usual, sets a record in terms of concurrent players on Steam with 16,958, when it was launched in the store last June 2020 it already had a peak with 13,427 players. Little by little, it dropped a few thousand until it reached mid-April, although the jump is also due to active offerings on Steam.
Right now on Steam there are two very attractive options to acquire Titanfall 2 : the Ultimate Edition is for € 7.49, but if we have not played anything of the saga there are both games for € 12.38. Although it must be admitted that the future content in Apex Legends, Respawn’s current battle royale, has also helped this resurface with great force.
The Season 9 Apex Legends will have many references to Titanfall 2, with which it shares game atmosphere, all this has been confirmed by the study itself. In a video we have already seen the legend Kairi “Valkyrie” Imahara, but we have also seen more of Kuben Blisk, the mercenary who created the Apex Games and has been a recurring character since the first Titanfall; back in 2014.
