One of the big draws of the Red Dead Redemption 2 release on PC was, of course, the mod support and this one we’re going to talk about is a good example of why. It is a recreation of the end of Red Dead Redemption but in its sequel. Needless to say, spoilers follow.
The YouTube account jedijosh920, dedicated to curiosities of Rockstar games , published on May 29 a video where he shows a recreation of the outcome of Red Dead Redemption, running inside Red Dead Redemption 2. As we know, John Marston is one of the leading characters in both games, making this recreation easier, since his ranch, better known as Beecher’s Hope, is featured in the 2 installments.
“A little re-creation of the last mission and ending (The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed) in the first Red Dead Redemption, where John Marston dies in Red Dead Redemption 2 with mods for Red Dead Redemption 2 that I created with some Red add-ons Dead Redemption 2, “Josh describes.
Red Dead Redemption 2 runs on a fairly advanced version of the RAGE engine, which is highlighted in the textures, but especially in the lighting of the sequel, in relation to the first installment, although the cinematic element lies neglected in recreation and also highlights the spooky appearance of Arthur Morgan, the central character of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The appearance of this work appears precisely in the framework of rumors about an alleged remake of Red Dead Redemption on the way to next-generation systems, although it is far from the only outstanding mod for the latest Rockstar game.
