True Detective and Ghost of Tsushima have nothing to do with each other, but this video combines both productions masterfully.
True Detective is a series remembered for many aspects. From the brilliant performances of Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey, for its twisted and deep plot, for that masterful shot-sequence or, of course, for its unforgettable intro. What we had never imagined is that someone would borrow the introductory footage to adapt it to the Ghost of Tsushima universe. Well, they have and the result is incredible.
The intro to True Detective, now dominated by Ghost of Tsushima
We see it on the Twitter account of a user called @DeanFHZ, a video creator, who has been inspired by the intro of the mythical series but has given it his own shape, using the characters and setting of Ghost of Tsushima, the latest game developed by Sucker Punch that has left such a good taste in the mouth with critics and audiences. We leave you the piece below.
“Using the images and footage from the game, I set out to evoke the story through symbolism , abstract photographs and focus on the internal struggles of the characters”, in this way the author defines his work, while the music and his own silhouettes sound by True Detective with characters and context from Sucker Punch’s samurai play. A wonder we had to share.
Ghost of Tsushima has received Legends a few weeks ago, a free expansion that includes cooperative multiplayer mechanics, among which the Raids stand out, suitable for the bravest samurai.
