Often, playing video games is an activity that we tend to practice alone: we enter our bubble, we live a story, we immerse ourselves in a universe. But sometimes, it can also be a real moment of communion with experiences that we can live together. In 2021, a number of games will allow two, three or even four people to have fun together for a few hours. So today we offer you a selection of playable titles in cooperation, all scheduled for 2021 and not to be missed.
It Takes Two
On March 26, Hazelight Studios will offer a narrative and visibly very original adventure for two to discover only. The watchwords: fun, cooperation and a lot of diversity in the gameplay for a story evoking the consequences of the separation of a couple. And best of all: only one copy of the game is needed to be able to play it thanks to the Friend Pass.
After the failure faced by Marvel’s Avengers, some may be looking for another way to experience a superhero adventure together. Gotham Knights might just be the perfect alternative. Whether you are more Robin, Batgirl, Nightwing or Red Hood, the next title of WB Games Montreal will allow you to make order in the streets of Gotham City in duet with a friend. Who will be the best?
Monster Hunter Rise
If you are looking for a way to play online with your friends without needing to stay at home, then Monster Hunter Rise is the game for you. Available March 26 on Nintendo Switch, it will allow up to four people to go monster hunting in the village of Kamura, where creatures known as never before will rage. After the success of Monster Hunter World, we want to go there with our eyes closed.
Back 4 Blood
Expected for June 22, Back 4 Blood is billed as the direct spiritual sequel to Left 4 Dead, which should come as no surprise since it is created by the same team. As in the latter, the objective will therefore be for the four players to cooperate in order to cross various levels filled with zombies and other monsters to face. Classic, certainly, but undoubtedly still as effective.
Scheduled for fall 2021, Halo Infinite will mark the return of the Master Chief in his war against the Covenant and other pests. Like the previous games, the campaign can be carried out in cooperation with up to four players for more fun and challenge, which makes it an experience of choice. Without forgetting, of course, the famous multiplayer mode which will also remain in the game.
