Ubisoft was risking everything to a card with the launch of Assassin’s Creed in 2007. What until now very few people knew is that the game was hastily changed at the request of the son of one of the managers of the company. 5 days before the gold phase entered, the boy told them that there was not much to do in the game and that it was boring. That’s why several of the main developers locked themselves up to create side missions like crazy. This is how Chris Randall told it.
“The CEO’s son played with the title and said it was boring and there was nothing to do.”
Randall admits that the boy was right: “There was nothing in the first version of the game beyond the main story Assassin’s Creed was a roller coaster and completely changed my career and most of my memories are positive..”
We have to thank that sincere kid for laying the foundation for one of the most successful franchises.
