In recent years, Xbox One owners have not had an app to stream their console from an iOS device.
We are not talking about playing in the cloud with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (although that is not available either) but an app that allows you to stream the games from your own console to the iPhone or iPad.
For its part, Sony added support for iOS to its Remote Play application on your PS last March, and now, a few weeks after the launch of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft has followed suit.
This week, Microsoft has released an update to the official Xbox app with a completely redesigned user interface and new features such as remote play.
Once you have updated the app, are familiar with the new design, and have entered your profile, look for a button with a symbol of an Xbox console in the upper right corner of the screen. Tap the button and you can configure a new console.
Once configured, you will connect to your Xbox and the same image that appears on the TV will appear on your iPhone or iPad. You will need to connect a controller, but if you have a recent Xbox, you already have a Bluetooth controller.
