We will agree that it is one of the worst feelings in the world. You buy an excited game and soon you see that they have reduced it and you have a silly face …
The Epic Games Store has announced that they will reimburse users who buy a game and that soon it will be discounted in the store itself. At the moment the refund percentage that will be applied is not known but it is a detail.
Game director and designer of Mayday Studios Joshua Boggs(and previous director of Framed at Loveshack Entertainment), posted an email from Epic Games Store, which said it was issuing a partial refund for a recent purchase Boggs made.
He recently placed orders at the Epic Games store. The price of the games you purchased was recently reduced, so partial refunds will be issued for differences.
Some of the best games discounted in the current Epic Mega Sale are:
- Red Dead Redemption 2 – $47.99
- The Outer Worlds – $38.99
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order – $38.99
- Control – $29.99
- Borderlands 3 – $29.99
- Anno 1800 – $29.99
- Shenmue III – $24.99
- Metro Exodus – $19.99
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – $19.79
- Assassin’s Creed Origins – $14.99
- Far Cry 5 – $14.99
- The Witcher III: Wild Hunt – $14.98
- What Remains of Edith Finch – $9.99
- Hob – $9.99
- Rainbow Six Siege – $7.99
Of course, Grand Theft Auto V Premium Edition is also available for free until next Thursday, Epic can afford this, in part, due to the extraordinary success of Fortnite, which has brought in $1 billion on mobile alone. There’s even a ‘mystery’ game that will unlock in about two days, and rumor has it that it will be Civilization VI.
