Koei Tecmo has several franchises that are either very popular or once widely recognized. In this last selection is Ninja Gaiden, a series that debuted in the golden age of video games and that had a lot of sequels. However, he fell into oblivion and it will be almost 10 years since his last new title. Despite this, the IP has not died and its managers want to revive it, but under one condition.
Since the premiere of Ninja Gaiden 3 (2013), fans have not been able to play a new title in the main series of the ninja Ryu Hayabusa that lives up to past installments and it is perhaps due to the poor reception of the latest iterations that Koei Temo put the series to rest.
If you are a fan of Ryu Hayabusa, however, you should not be discouraged, as the company does not rule out reviving it; on the contrary, very soon he may have a new opportunity to return.
