Street Fighter VI is already in development

Another of the already numerous Capcom leaks has allowed us to know a little about the existence of Street Fighter VI

Four years have passed since the release of Street Fighter V. At the time, its release was quite controversial, as the title came with very few characters and content. It took the game a couple of years to pay off, but it eventually garnered the respect of fans of the franchise. However, the time to increase the level is near. It is time to enter the next generation and Street Fighter VI will be the game that will bring the fighting genre to the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

What has been leaked today is that Street Fighter VI is within Capcom’s plans. Yes, another of the already common Capcom leaks. This can be verified on the Twitter account called GameLeaksRumors. The information of a game was filtered with the code NT143, which will be released on five different platforms. Its name is, according to this system, “Street Fighter6” and will be released for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. If you are attentive, you will notice a huge difference from the past generation.

That’s right, Xbox will once again have an SF game. This shows that the exclusivity of the fifth installment was more out of desperation than choice.

There is no image, but it is already clear that Street Fighter VI is being worked on at this very moment. It would make sense to release it next year, as the fifth installment would be in its fifth year. The director of the previous installment, Yoshinori Ono, left the company after problems with the new installment of the franchise. In this way, this is the first SF in a long time that has no relationship with Ono.
