The release of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition to the market has been much more turbulent than Square Enix probably expected. In addition to the criticism from the specialized press and many players, the online aspect of the title is suffering numerous problems , with constant failures. This is frustrating users, as online multiplayer is its main attraction .
In fact, online problems have reached such a point that, in Australia and New Zealand, Square Enix has had to temporarily withdraw the title while it investigates why players cannot connect. Now, the director of the game, Araki Ryoma , has released a statement on the official website of the Japanese company apologizing for all the errors and announcing that different updates will arrive to improve the game.
“We have received a lot of feedback from our players since the game was launched and we are moving to address all issues raised as quickly as possible, ” Ryoma said. The developer has also explained that the connection problems of the first days were due to a saturation of the servers , but that this was fixed on August 29 with a maintenance that expanded the capacity of the servers , making the experience more stable.
Ryoma has also detailed what the next planned updates will be , focused on improving the gaming experience and fixing other bugs. For all platforms, the error that the objects can be obtained infinitely and another related to a specific failure when pairing with another player will be corrected . In addition, in iOS and Android it will be improved that the game hangs while loading.
And it will also be possible on all platforms for the host to skip the boss scenes and the myrrh fall scenes in multiplayer (Android and iOS will do the same, but for single player). These updates are scheduled for release in mid to late September , with specific dates yet to be announced.
