The Black Lives Matter movement continues to resonate in different parts and one of the sectors where it echoed from the first moment was in video games, an industry that it supported in different ways and that has begun to consider solutions to solve the racial problem. In recent months, some video games have included content that hints at the movement, but few have done so like Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
A few days after the debut of Spider-Man: Miles Morales , little by little part of the content of this installment has been revealed that will be available on PS4 and PS5 and it was just revealed that it includes a tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement. According to the information, if players are interested in finding this show of support against racism, they just need to keep an eye on the Harlem community. Once the missions and the frequency of crimes decrease, the same inhabitants will recognize Miles Morales by awarding him the Uptown Pride suit, which features a combination of black and yellow, hallmark of the Black Lives Matter movement. Additionally, the community will begin to refer to Miles as “their” Spider-Man, as a token of appreciation.
But that’s not all, for once this happens, Miles Morales’ next visit to Harlem will see the unveiling of a huge mural honoring the anti-racism movement.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales will debut on November 12 on PS4 and PS5.
