Much has been said about the supposed return of Silent Hill with a new game; However, the reality is that nothing has been confirmed and it seems that Konami has no plans for its horror series to return as fans expect.
In case you don’t remember, the world of Silent Hill and some of its characters were revived thanks to a collaboration with Dead by Daylight. This gave gamers hope, who thought that Konami had a genuine interest in reviving the series.
If you are a fan of the horror saga, you should know that more content about it will be released soon. However, the news may disappoint you a bit, as it is a new collaboration with another horror title: Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals.
SILENT HILL WILL RETURN, BUT AS DLC FOR ANOTHER HORROR GAME
Glowstick Entertainment revealed part of their plans for the future of Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals, a multiplayer horror title that debuted in 2020 and was well received by the PC gaming community.
The studio took its fans by surprise, as it revealed the first details of a Silent Hill DLC for its title. The studio shared a teaser confirming the collaboration, but for now it has not revealed all the content it is preparing.
However, Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals is estimated to host some of the scariest monsters in Silent Hill. The content has no confirmed date, but we know that it will be available sometime in February this year.
As such, Glowstick Entertainment is expected to share more information on downloadable content very soon. Meanwhile, below you can see the teaser for the collaboration, featuring the Silent Hill logo.
While for now there is nothing confirmed about a new installment in the Konami saga, it is a fact that there will be one more film based on the franchise. On the other hand, we remind you that the creator of Silent Hill founded a new studio with talents from Sony.
