Scott Pilgrim was a fun curiosity from the past decade, a series of charismatic comics about various memorable characters. The success of the comic allowed the creation of a film that is turning ten years old at this time. This film had a beat ’em up video game that was released at the same time called Scott Pilgrim vs the World. It received good reviews but unfortunately ran into a licensing issue due to being developed by Ubisoft so long ago.
The game has disappeared from digital stores six years ago and making noise online hasn’t accomplished much.

However, this could be about to change. Due to the celebrations for the film’s ten years, the creator of the comic, Brian Lee or Malley, made a curious tweet. In this one, Malley asked Ubisoft to release Scott Pilgrim’s game again. Normally, this would not be a big deal, as the French company has all the power in this scenario. They would just have to ignore it and this article wouldn’t even exist. However, the surprise was that Ubisoft responded with a doubtful emoji. Although Brian later said “it’s a joke,” there may be another intention.
Scott Pilgrim vs The World was released for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation in 2010. This received downloadable content in 2013 that added a new character (Wallace Wells) and the ability to play it online. In 2014, this disappeared from digital stores. If you want to experience this charismatic beat em up, the only way is to buy a console that already has the game installed.
