All eyes may be on the PlayStation 5 event today, but Epic doesn’t miss their Thursday date with free PC games. As every week, Epic Games Store updates its offer with new titles available to users, and one of them will not catch anyone by surprise. This is Ark: Survival Evolved, a game that already appeared in the May leak, and whose arrival was missed by Epic last night through a Facebook announcement.
Starting today, and until June 18, all users of the Epic store who have two-step certification activated will be able to download Ark: Survival Evolved and add it to their accounts for free and forever. It is a multiplayer survival and crafting adventure, in a wild world where technology coexists with huge dinosaurs that can be hunted and tamed.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the only free game from the Epic Games Store this week. As SNK fans will remember, Samurai Showdown: NeoGeo Collection is available for sale today on PC, which is also available for free during its first week in the Epic store, also until the 18th. It is a compilation of the Samurai Showdown saga with 6 of its classic video games and online features, among others, added.

These two games can be claimed at no cost until Thursday of next week, so do not hesitate to get hold of them. If you want to know more details about the first of the two, here is Ark: Survival Evolved’s analysis.
