Riot Games has announced the release date of its promising Valorant , the tactical shooter that in recent weeks has caused great excitement during its beta testing phase, and that will not be done to beg much more: it will be released on the 2nd of June , at least “in most regions” as reported in a press release.
Closed beta will be available until May 28“
Our goal has always been to officially launch Valorant as soon as possible and for as many people as possible, and we are excited to be able to do it on June 2,” said executive producer of this tactical shooter, Anna Donlon. “The launch always carries higher expectations, so we want to continue to have conversations with players to maintain our long-term commitment to the Valorant community. This is just the beginning of our journey .”
The authors of the League of Legends universe have also confirmed that the Valorant closed beta will be active until May 28 , at which time it will close their servers. The days leading up to the game’s official launch will allow the Valorant team to restart player accounts, introduce new content, and prepare for the premiere. “Once active,” they warn, “all players will start from scratch.”
Riot Games has also announced that new servers have been created at locations such as Madrid, London, Warsaw, Atlanta and Dallas to improve player latency. Of course, they add, the fact that the final version is now released does not mean that they do not have abundant improvements and new content with which they hope to enrich the gaming experience.
