Resident Evil Village will arrive on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PS4 and PC platforms in May 2021.
Capcom announced that the Resident Evil Village game will be released on May 7, 2021. The new game of the series will be a direct sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard from 2017.
While the game was initially introduced specifically for next-generation consoles, Capcom announced that they made the game playable on current-generation machines. After months of development, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will also be able to play the game.
At the Resident Evil Showcase event, the developer company also stated that the new production in the Resident Evil series will be a long gameplay demo. The demo covers many aspects of the game, from puzzles to set pieces and even the brand new production system. In this demo, players can also interact with a new merchant character called Duke. Currently, this demo is available for free on PlayStation 5 . It was stated that a second demo for other platforms will come in the following months.
The game will be released on May 7, 2021 on all platforms.
