Resident Evil Village coming to PS4 and Xbox One due to PS5 issues

Capcom continues to prepare the ground for the arrival of the next game in the Resident Evil franchise. After a long wait, the new Village was announced as a game that will be coming exclusively to the next generation of consoles. Now then, it seems that these plans could be affected and would be about to reach the current generation, due to a failure with the PS5 version.

This has been revealed by Aesthetic Gamer, the renowned insider who has brought relevant information from the industry. Through his Twitter account, he has assured that Resident Evil Village would be presenting problems in its version of PS5. On the other hand, the PC and Xbox Series X versions are not presenting any kind of problem. Due to this, the firm would be evaluating launching the game for the current generation.

“I know this won’t make sense to everyone out there, except for the PS5 version of RE8 it’s having a lot of problems. The next-gen enhancements they are making are working fine on the PC and Xbox X versions, but they are really affecting the PS5 version. They’re debating giving up on effects and features, trying to figure out what’s going on here and with these setbacks, and thinking about sales by debating whether they should go for the next generation for the benefits it brings to the game, or cut back to make them more available, even. they have been giving some questionnaires to the testers, including questions about next-generation or cross-generation approaches, ”says the insider.
