Razer today announced a collaboration agreement with 343 Industries, the studio behind Halo Infinite’s development, to launch the game’s official peripherals. License rights allow Razer to develop multiple licensed products, including gaming peripherals for Xbox and PC. These peripherals will arrive during the fourth quarter of this year.
“Razer is the perfect partner to help us provide the Premium peripherals that Halo gamers are looking for. The Halo Consumer Products team is focused on bringing the Halo universe to life and putting them in the hands of our community, ”stated Kiki Wolfkill, Halo Director at 343 Industries. “We are delighted with this agreement with Razer to create a line of high-quality peripherals to embed the Halo brand while delivering the performance our fans expect on multiple platforms.”
“Halo Infinite is one of this year’s most anticipated games, with a broad community that has always wanted custom peripherals,” said Bob Ohlweiler, SVP and General Manager at Razer USA. “Halo has a rich history as a saga, and Razer is proud to work with 343 Industries and Xbox to support the launch of products dedicated to the fan community.”
This partnership will continue with a series of innovative Razer products for Xbox, having previously developed the industry’s first Xbox peripherals, including the Nari Ultimate for Xbox One, the first Xbox Wireless-compatible headsets and HyperSense haptic feedback; and the Razer Turret for Xbox One, the first wireless keyboard, and mouse for the console. These products, along with the award-winning Razer Wolverine controller lineup, will be compatible with Microsoft’s upcoming Xbox Series X gaming console. Additionally, Razer is developing a line of new Xbox products that will launch later this year.
