We are very close to the beginning of August. This means something very important for subscribers to PlayStation Plus , as the service will soon add its lineup for the new month. The announcement, however, was untimely, because by mistake PlayStation revealed them prematurely.
Like every month, the members of PlayStation Plus had begun to speculate about the games that would appear on the service in August and that Sony would reveal on July 28, the last Wednesday of the month. However, fans will not have to speculate more, since it was the same PlayStation that leaked the games that will be available during August through its official page.
WHAT GAMES ARE COMING TO PLAYSTATION PLUS IN AUGUST 2021?
A few hours ago, it was noticed that the games that would arrive on the service next August were revealed in advance on the official PlayStation page dedicated to PlayStation Plus.
In total 3 games will be offered: the first is Hunter’s Arena: Legends , a PvP and PvE action title with Battle Royale options, which had already been revealed in the past State of Play . It is important that you take into account that the version of this title will be exclusively that of PlayStation 5, so, although all PlayStation Plus members will be able to download it, it can only be run on a PlayStation 5.
It was not known which games would be the ones that would complement the August alienation and one of them will be Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville , the latest installment in the FPS series. Unlike the previous game, this title is from PlayStation 4, so it will be playable on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 (thanks to backward compatibility).
Finally, the third game that will also join the August line-up will be Tennis World Tour 2 , a game inspired by white sports and that has a local and online multiplayer component. Likewise, this game is for PlayStation 4, so it will be possible to play it also on PlayStation 5 through backward compatibility.
It is important to mention that shortly after the official page leaked the August games from PlayStation Plus, the section that included the new games was removed . However, it was possible to save an image of the site. That said, the chances of this being an error are slim, but we invite you to wait for confirmation next Wednesday, July 28.
Next we leave you with an image of the official site with the announcement.
