Bayonetta 3, a distant star in the sky of Nintendo Switch
It is not the first time that it comes to the fore to clarify the situation of Bayonetta 3. Specifically, during this 2020 it has sent up to 3 different messages about the development: February, May and August . They all share patience and the assurance that development continues.
A date marked the beginning of this path: December 7, 2017. During The Game Awards gala of the same year, Nintendo appeared hand in hand with Platinum Games to leave us a teaser trailer of just 53 seconds. A logo and the witch’s face were icons enough to drive the future of the hybrid console.
Since then, Bayonetta 3 has remained on the horizon alongside the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Metroid Prime 4. Someday they will come, but there are still months to go. In the case of Samus’ new adventure, Retro Studios is still looking for (and hiring) staff to fuel his next solo job.
