The game will arrive exclusively on Nintendo Switch next March.
The official account of the Monster Hunter saga has published a new video with more than 6 minutes of gameplay of Monster Hunter Rise, the next instalment of the saga that is in development exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
Monster Hunter Rise is coming to Switch in March 2021
In the new footage of the Capcom game, we can see several minutes of its gameplay, where new aspects of the combat system and exploration are detailed, which are two of the main assets of the saga. On the tour we see how the Great Sword is used, one of the 14 weapon archetypes that we will have at our disposal in the adventure. They will all be available in the game and they have no plans to include any new ones.
All this while from the Japanese studio they comment on the news in a game that promises enough dynamism to hunt down the monsters, with alternatives if we are surrounded to get away and meet the objective. For that, there is also the “cablebicho” , a hook that can be used in various ways.
The video also sees the character on the back of a Canyne to be able to travel the vast landscapes of the game at full speed and that no monster escapes. In the adventure, we will explore the Kamura Village, a land inspired by ancient Japan. A setting that we can visit to hunt both alone and in the company of friends taking advantage of the cooperative benefits of the proposal.
Monster Hunter Rise is scheduled to premiere on Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021 .
