Fans of the Yazuka saga are in luck, because the franchise’s spin-off, Judgment, will receive a sequel this year. Lost Judgment will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One , Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X on September 24 and released its first data. At the moment, the game is confirmed for those consoles, but could it reach other platforms in the future?
We’ll see what happens, but SEGA has already had to come out to clarify that it will not come to PC at the least for now. Some players had noticed that the Japanese Lost Judgment website mentioned that the game would be released for Windows 10 and Steam, but this information disappeared. Also, the official information did not include the release for computers.
Ryu Ga Gotoku site briefly mentioned that Lost Judgment would be releasing on Win10/Steam, but that has been removed from the site. There's also mention of a Steam logo in the Lost Judgment website source for some reason pic.twitter.com/9HvgV7S7Ow

In a SEGA statement to PC Gamer, the Japanese developer has clarified this misunderstanding and although that mention of the PC version appeared on the website, it will not be released in compatible. “The game has been announced for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. SEGA has no plans to bring Lost Judgment to PC at this time,” explained a representative of the Japanese company.
The original Judgment is not on PC either, but it could all happen in the future. The games of the Yakuza saga are compatible, so it is not unreasonable to think that in the future SEGA will be encouraged to launch the game on that platform. For now, yes, you will have to play it on one of the PlayStation or Xbox consoles to continue the adventures of Takayuki Yagami.
Lost Judgment will be the first game from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio to have a simultaneous worldwide release and the studio has indicated that they expect this to be the trend for the future.
