A few weeks ago, Hideo Kojima released hints on social media about his new project and collaboration with artist Yoji Shinkawa. Now Junji Ito, the prolific horror mangaka, has revealed that the designer has requested his help for a video game and has briefly spoken about the subject in an interview during the recent Comic-Con.
“I know director Kojima and we have been talking about a horror game project, so he invited me to work on it, but there are no details yet,” Ito confessed through ComicBook. Unfortunately, not much more was revealed about the project the well-known Japanese designer might be working on, but fortunately, more and more clues indicate that he is very active.
Ito is actually the artist Kojima originally wanted as for PT’s conceptual work, but the project was scrapped before he drew a sketch. The rebirth of Silent Hills was discussed in March when reports emerged that Sony was seeking to mediate in a meeting between Hideo Kojima and Konami to bring back the mythical project, although the latter denied it.
The arrival of content from the classic game was finally revealed, but in the form of a DLC for Dead by Daylight, a piece of news that broke the hype accumulated among the players. For its part, PT continues to interest within the industry and some secrets continue to come to light, such as Lisa’s way of acting when the camera does not focus her or new curiosities about the demo.
