Respawn Entertainment is already working on a new Star Wars game. The Electronic Arts studio, responsible for a Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order that restored its faith in single-player adventures to the company, has a new project related to the Lucasfilm franchise on its hands. This is confirmed by senior producer Blair Brown, in a job offer from the studio.
“I’m looking for an experienced producer to come work with me on Star Wars within Respawn!” Says Brown, noting that the studio’s production team is small, and “we rarely have open positions, so get in touch quickly if you are interested “. No more details about this mysterious Star Wars game are mentioned in the job offer, so the question remains whether it will be a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, or a completely different adventure.

Beyond this position, the company is also looking for a senior cutscene producer for the Star Wars team, but again, the supply is tight when it comes to information about the game. In May 2020, EA leader Andrew Wilson made it clear that Jedi: Fallen Order represents a new saga for the company, which opened the door to the development of subsequent sequels. And, although a year later we have learned that the exclusivity of Star Wars with EA will come to an end, that does not mean that the company will stop working on games in the saga.
We’ll see if this project is finally a continuation of the Cal Kestis story, or something entirely new. We remind you that this is not the only project in the franchise to keep track of, with a new open-world Star Wars in development by Ubisoft Massive.
