Almost since its release, it became clear that the updates for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and its parallel battle-royale, Warzone, would be a drawback because of its size, and while Infinity Ward apologized for it months ago, the situation hasn’t changed much. The facilities management screen is in the General tab of the options category and, at the moment, there are 5 installed data packages , 3 of which correspond to the Special Operations and Survival modes, which could be deleted, in case of not frequenting these game formats. This is a tool that Infinity Ward added a few months ago but that not everyone uses.
Unfortunately, Modern Warfare and Warzone have other issues. Certain updates have caused a loop on the game’s startup screen, some players report arbitrary uninstalls, performance in Warzone is inconsistent, servers have had frequent issues in recent weeks and that, not to mention patches that do indeed rock between 10GB and 30GB, causing migraines in players with 512GB hard drive models, who may be forced to have only one additional game installed on their console.
