With Season 2 of Warzone less than twenty-four hours away, many fans are wondering what the update size of Season 2 of Warzone will be. We’ve put together our rough estimate of what the likely size will be across all platforms. What will be the size of the update?
There is nothing official yet when it comes to the size of the season two update. But based on the update sizes above, we think we’ve made a pretty good guess.
The latest Cold War patch was released this morning (Feb 24), and the update size on all platforms was:
Xbox – 15GB to 22GB PC – 30GB PlayStation – 11GB to 13GB
When season one of Warzone and Cold War went live in December 2020, the update size on all platforms was:
Xbox – 27GB to 35GB PC – 62GB to 70GB PlayStation – 21GB to 42GB
If you consider the previous update size for the first season, the second season will likely have a similar file size. However, Activision announced that they would try to keep update sizes low, but with the recent Cold War update I’m not sure how true that is.
I expect PlayStation users to have the smallest update size, between 20GB and 35GB. Whereas the PC generally has a much larger update size of between 40GB and 70GB. Xbox users can expect to be similar in size to PlayStation, possibly between 25GB and 45GB.
These numbers are just speculation, fans will likely not know the exact size until the Warzone season 2 update goes live.
