The arrival of E3 2021 is imminent, and as often happens in the weeks that precede it, all kinds of rumors and leaks about possible announcements are emerging. In addition to this, the community was very aware of what Sony would do this summer, since they will not be at the Los Angeles fair and it was intuited that they could bring something in their hands. This has just been confirmed with the announcement of a new State of Play starring Horizon Forbidden West.
Both Sony and the Dutch developer Guerrilla Games confirmed the news through the Official PlayStation Blog, where they reveal that the digital event will last 20 minutes and that 14 of them will be dedicated to showing the first official gameplay of the video game (which will be captured from a PS5). The countdown for this State of Play will begin next Thursday, May 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Keys to this State of Play
- Date and time: Thursday, May 27.
- The event will last 20 minutes.
- A total of 14 minutes will be focused on showing gameplay.
- It has not been confirmed if they will offer a release date.
All those players who want to see what Guerrilla Games’ ambitious open-world adventure looks like can do so through the official PlayStation channels on YouTube or Twitch. At the moment it is not very clear what aspects of the title will be taught at the event, but the study confirmed that they will emphasize presenting the game world (inspired by San Francisco) and that Aloy will be the absolute protagonist.
Finally we remember that although Horizon Forbidden West aims to take advantage of all the features of PlayStation 5 and is unmarked as one of the most anticipated new generation works, it will also be on sale for PlayStation 4.
