Gearbox has released a small trailer for Godfall, a title that we hope to see there since, at least on consoles, the game is exclusive to Sony, while on PC, the title is exclusive to the Epic Games Store.
Unfortunately, the trailer doesn’t really impress, as it only shows the protagonist ‘Silvermane’, the last knight of order about to be extinguished who will fight to avoid the end of the world. Although it is expected that on Thursday we will have the first official gameplay, at least it gives relevant information such as that it will arrive at Christmas on PC and PlayStation 5, and we can see that the AMD Radeon brand is present, so it is expected that it does not include Nvidia RTX technology for RayTracing, since the game was created with the help of AMD, something obvious given the nature of the console.
In the first leaked gameplay, there was a great emphasis on lighting, reflections or shadows, not knowing if Godfall integrates RayTracing technology on consoles thanks to the dedicated hardware of the RDNA2 architecture, or that they use another type of technology that faithfully simulates RayTracing but without that has a negative impact on performance.
The game will be a “looter-slasher” RPG, with highlights to mention as third-person battles, a host of loot items in the form of legendary items, and much more. The game also has a cooperative mode for three players, not knowing if a cross-play has been added to unite PC players with those of PlayStation.
