Godfall is the first physical game to be manufactured for PlayStation 5

PlayStation 5 will debut in less than a month and will do so alongside a strong selection of multiplatform games and other exclusives. One of the last will be Godfall, the new game that will be in charge of Gearbox Publishing. Well, like the console, the title is now ready to debut and today it was revealed that the physical copies of the game have already begun to be produced.

The title looter slasher will be one of the first not only to arrive on the PlayStation 5 but also to do so traditionally, in physical format, and is now ready to be manufactured in mass. Through his Twitter account, the CEO of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford, took the opportunity to share with his followers that the production of physical copies of Godfall for PlayStation 5 has already begun.

The above means that the game is now ready to debut. Additionally, Pitchford excitedly confirmed that this is the first physically produced next-generation console game and shared a photo of the first unit to be manufactured that has just rolled off the production line. Thanks to this it is possible to see the box and the contents of the Ascended Edition up close . The manager took the opportunity to congratulate the developer Counterplay Games and the distributor Gearbox Publishing for making it happen.

Something interesting that can be seen in the Godfall box is that it is advised that it will be necessary to have an active PlayStation Plus membership. However, you should know that is possible to play the solo mode without it since multiplayer will be the only component that will require the subscription. However, in any case, you will have to be connected to the Internet.
