The sequel to the adventures of Kratos and Atreus is one of the hottest titles to come out in the coming year – so it’s no wonder that we are constantly flooded with more news.
God of War: Ragnarok (working title) is arguably a premiere with masses of fans looking forward to it. And although you would like to write that we will see it in 2022, you cannot be sure about it . Nevertheless, it does not mean that we will have to wait a long time for any material presenting the project. If the reports are to be believed, this one is to appear during the upcoming PlayStation Showcase 2021 .
Now, however, there is very interesting information on the Internet about the length of the game itself. It flows straight from David Jaffe . If the name doesn’t tell you much, it’s worth emphasizing that this is one of the main creators of the first two installments of the God of War series (of course, on PS2). Currently, he is involved in streaming and publishing various types of materials on YouTube.
In one of his recent films, he mentioned that his friends at Sony had told him that Santa Monica Studio aims to make the God of War Ragnarok transition a fun game for around 40 hours . And it would be a real treat for fans, because in the previous installment the length was twice as short (in the case of platinum it was closer to 30 hours). David admitted that he did not know whether this is the time needed to complete the plot or to “max out” the game – in each case, however, we are talking about a larger project.
