The Xbox event failed to meet the expectations of many fans of the American company and this has consequences. Now that the company has failed to captivate its fans, PlayStation has a chance to surprise and win the generation. Their last presentation had very popular parts, so they can be very benefited without knowing how to play their cards. And it looks like their next presentation, which will take place in early August, God of War 2 will be revealed.
Not only would it be revealed, but it would be a PlayStation 5 exclusive.
According to Wccftech, YouTuber Moore »s Law is Dead has shared that God of War 2 will be part of his next presentation. On this website mention that the YouTuber source states that the GOW sequel will be released in late 2021. He has no further information and this YouTuber does not have as much credibility as an insider. Don’t be surprised if this prediction ends up being completely wrong. After all, Cory Balrog commented that he would probably make another title before returning to God of War. It would be weird if I did another GoW again so quickly.
However, if there is a point of validity in all this it is that Sony needs a big announcement for August. Now that Xbox failed to surprise, Sony has a golden opportunity to make a slam dunk. They have a great gallery of companies, so something must be hidden to surprise their fans. Only time will allow us to know.
